Moose Head - Twig Eater

Symbolizing endurance and survival.

Moose is an Algonquin word meaning Twig Eater. The Twig Eater is an animal who travels on land, through swamp and water in his hunt for good medicine high above the forest floor. Although there is not a vast mythology of the Twig Eater there is a great history and memory of how this animal has provided the people with sustenance. The Twig Eater brings good medicine to the people and this sculpture is a symbol of endurance, strength, survival and ones quest for wellness, and good health.
